District II Coaching License Policy
- All Division 1 (Class 1) and Division 3 (Class 3) head coaches shall hold a CYSA E/D license. Head coaches of Division 1 U16 teams or above shall hold a CYSA State D license or equivalent NSCAA National diploma.
- No individual may serve as the head coach of more than three Division 1 or Division 3 teams at the same time.
- All Division 1 and Division 3 assistant coaches shall hold at least a CYSA F license.

District II League Coaching Coordinators
Got some questions about the various CYSA coaching licenses? Looking for ideas for drills to teach technical skills or tactical play? Need any other kind of general coaching help? Contact your league's coaching coordinator. Most of these volunteers are highly experienced coaches, who can understand your needs and quickly direct you to the right resources. District II supports all the league coaching directors in our area, so that they can efficiently provide the answers or ideas you want. A current listing of league coaching coordinators is below.

CYSA Coach of the Year
Do you know a great volunteer coach? One who spends endless hours teaching soccer (and life skills) to your son or daughter, juggling game schedules, putting nets up and taking them down, painting fields, and perhaps refereeing a few games? You should nominate this deserving individual to be Coach of the Year. One girls and one boys coach will be selected from within District II. The winners will then be eligible to be named CYSA State Coach of the Year at the annual CYSA Equipment Show. Download the official nomination form. Nominations are due no later than October 31st.
